A hand-drawn sketch of Castelgate in Aberdeen – once the civic heart of the city. At the centre stands the statue of the Duke of Gordon, which was later relocated to Golden Square. This scene captures a moment in time when trams still rumbled through the cobbled streets, and the square buzzed with life. Historic granite buildings frame the composition, echoing a time when Castlegate was a gathering point for markets, parades, and daily encounters. This artwork brings back the rhythm and dignity of old Aberdeen.
This printing is presented on a 250gsm acid free linen fabric paper, adheres to a acid free 5mm formboard with colourless fixative spray with anti UV protection and framed in a wooden frame.
Size 22.5cm Square.
